Step 1: Prep

Warm the rice and trim the asparagus. Preheat a large skillet to medium heat and add the butter to coat.

Step 2: Cook

Add the egg, cover the pan and cook for about a minute. Then, add the asparagus alongside the egg and re-cover for another 1-2 min.

Step 3: Assemble

Place the rice and asparagus in a serving bowl. Drizzle the tamari over both, and add the egg and kimchi to the bowl.
