Homemade Mashed Potatoes

Ingredients you'll need:

Yukon gold or Russet potatoes unsalted butter whole milk garlic powder sea salt black pepper fresh chives

Step 1: Prep

Peel and cube the potatoes, place in a large pot and cover with cold water until the water is just above the tops of the potatoes.

Step 2: Cook

Boil the water and cook for 15 minutes or until tender, and drain. Separately, warm butter and milk in a small saucepan over low heat.

Step 3: Mix

Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and use a hand mixer or potato masher to blend or mash to desired consistency.

Step 4: Enjoy

Season to taste with additional salt and pepper, and garnish with fresh chives if desired. Enjoy your mashed potatoes!❤️
