This quick and easy lemon garlic aioli is one of the simplest ways to add fresh flavor to everyday meals. It's creamy, bright, garlicky, and comes together in just minutes with a handful of simple ingredients.

This is one of my go-to sauces for sides and mains, and it's the one that goes with nearly ALL the burgers, fries and bowls. I absolutely love using it for this pan seared salmon dish.

While traditional aioli is prepared with olive oil and garlic, modern versions often infuse a good mayonnaise with some fresh lemon and garlic, as I have opted to do in this recipe. This method makes the aioli super fast, but still fresh and delicious!

🌿 Ingredients

Mayonnaise, salt & pepper, lemon, and a clove of garlic on a marble countertop.

Pro tip: If you don't have fresh garlic on hand or to make this recipe even faster, simply use a little garlic powder instead!

See recipe card below for exact quantities.

📝 Instructions

A chefs knife rests on a white cutting board with small piles of minced garlic on the right and lemon zest on the left.
Wash, zest, and juice the lemon, and mince the garlic.
A metal whisk rests in a glass bowl filled with garlic aioli sauce on a white marble countertop.
Whisk everything together and let the flavors meld in the fridge for 10 minutes.

🥧 Serving suggestions

This garlic aioli is perfect for perking up quick lunches, sandwiches, and easy dinners for one. It's a great topping for a quick air fryer chicken breast or a turkey burger. And it's absolutely delightful with some steamed broccoli or roasted sweet potatoes.
