This single-serve calzone recipe is a simple, weeknight-friendly meal that delivers all the comfort of your favorite pizza in a perfectly portioned package. And unlike ordering takeout, this quick & easy version is way more rewarding and delicious.

If you've ever struggled with leftover pizza dough or half-used ingredients, this recipe will totally solve that problem. 😉 It's designed specifically for one person, so nothing goes to waste and everything feels super intentional.
You can keep it classic with just pizza sauce and cheese, or get creative and toss in leftover veggies, extra baked chicken or a little pepperoni. You can't go wrong with toppings.
And if you're a pizza lover but have never tried a calzone, you will absolutely love this recipe. Same cozy vibes, just folded over and sealed with cheesy goodness and a perfectly crispy crust.
🌿 Ingredients

You should be able to find prepared pizza dough in the refrigerated section of most large grocery stores. You can look for pizza sauce in the Italian aisle, or make a quick homemade pizza sauce.
To make this calzone gluten free, use homemade gluten free pizza dough and dust your surface with GF flour. (The dough will make enough for 2 calzones.)
