I love the changes that seasonal shifts bring to culinary possibilities. With more available farmers markets and fresh produce, this time of year is just brimming with new ideas. And the great thing for all you solo chefs out there is that it's a great time for experimentation. Instead of buying a 2-pound bag of carrots at the grocery store, try a small bunch from a farm stand, or grab a new veggie or two to try. This is one of my favorite spring activities actually. 🙂
